The Man-up Radio Show is for the real DUDE; the man who is Disciplined in his life, Unashamed to be a man, Determined to accomplish his goals and live life to its fullest, and Enlightened beyond his years. On the MAN-UP radio show we celebrate gender difference instead of blurring the social conscience with gender equality. This show is for DUDEs that believe men and women should be equal before the law and have equal opportunity to the same privileges, rights, and freedoms. However, on the MAN-UP Radio show, equal opportunity does not equate to the "Social Androgyny" we have been experiencing for the last few decades. In a world that has all but castrated the male persona the MAN-UP radio show attempts to raise men's awareness of their nature, history and true capacities. On the Man-up Radio Show men can celebrate manhood, we can talk like men, tell man jokes, share man experiences, and not feel guilty or persecuted for it.

Although the Man-up Radio Show does not claim to have the answers to many of the issues that face the modern DUDE. We can at least begin the process of speaking out on the hard issues nobody has tackled yet. This show offers a pipeline of communication and an opportunity for men to bond with DUDEs of equal mindset. We want to hear from all men who take being a DUDE seriously. Together we can hold each other to a higher standard of excellence and reclaim the stature we once had in society. They say "they don't make men the way they use to" and this is true. BUT - it doesn't have to be this way. The Man-up Radio Show is determined to start making men the way we use to - real DUDEs!

• Feels conformable NOT having all the answers, but will not go along with popular views to artificially create popular answers.

Why the MAN-UP Radio Show?

You often hear that "women have not gotten a fair shot at life because this has been a man's world." Well this is partially true for the obvious reason; this is a man's world because men have always been the ones to conquer and rule. Why do you think this happened? Does anyone really think that women were willing and able to mount a horse, swing an axe, withstand the horrors of brutal combat, and the pressures of governing and organization? With few isolated exceptions in history, and even in instances where a queen has ruled a country, it was the men who fought, conquered, secured the real estate, and enforce the laws of the land.

This is just one small example of the many truths men can't express in public without being stone in the public square of "political correctness." Although this observation is base on an undeniable truth it would be booed on any contemporary talk show. This truthful observation would be taken as a condescending statement about women, and portrayed as a "quintessential male ego-driven comment." Thus, our point is made again?.. this castrated society can't handle the truth. We men have all patronized women because at some point in time, it has been just about socially and legally mandated. Most men will also admit to never believing in many of our patronizing comments about women. Some of us will even admit to hating ever being patronizing and filled with guilt because of it. The reason for this patronizing guilt may be that deep down inside we all know patronizing remarks are the ultimate form of disrespect. For a compliment to mean something it has to be true and sincere. So the next time anyone says something like, "anything men can do, women can do better" think again. Although a real man (i.e. a DUDE) loves and respects women, we need to respectfully and intelligently speak the truths of gender differences and not be afraid to intellectually engage in public forums.

If a woman is better suited for a particular purpose, then so be it - DUDEs will be the first to admit it and celebrate it! However, don't sell us on the bull$#!@ feminist chatter, such as women being able to grab rifles and defend a country as men have successfully done so for eons! That's like pissing on our leg and telling us it's training. There may be a few women capable of coming close to what men routinely do on the battle field, and many other areas of society, but to pass legislation down the throats of the public, for the equal rights of a few, threatens everything we stand for.

This type of feminist rhetoric is what has polarized men and women for many decades now, and what is truly crazy is - most women don't even believe in this crap. BUT - they stand idle while a few feminists march them into a social environment that is riddled with resentment, apprehension, distrust, jealousy, anger, and less cooperation between the sexes. Yeah, all of this "feminist advancement" may have gotten women 50% on a divorce with 100% child custody, but all that's done is to force husbands to stash money in foreign bank accounts and alienate them from their children. How are women going to get the support they need and the help needed to raise their children if the socio-political environment is increasingly hostile to men and fathers? When thrown into a survival mode, any animal will act to preserve itself - it is ingrained in our DNA. Men are now different. As more rights, freedoms, and privileges are taken away from men, they will find ways to emotionally, socially and economically survive. This survival may be at the expense of a woman he once loved. Is this what the feminists had in mind for our mothers, sisters and daughters? We think not.

I bet you have not heard these words in a long time? - perhaps never! The MAN-UP RADIO Show feels this is where society is and where it is continuing to head. This straight forward, no BS approach is the essence of reclaiming and celebrating gender differences with respect and admiration for each gender. If we can all have permission to step out of the cluster $#@! that is today's feminist movement and open up a long awaited dialogue that INCLUDES a man's perspective, perhaps both genders can one day walk hand in hand again... sharing each other's commonalities and admiring each other's differences. This is the essence of the MAN-UP RADIO Show.

What women will enjoy the Man-up Radio Show? The woman who is: intelligent, confident in her womanhood, not interested in being a man, knows how to get what she wants out of her man, and likes a little bad boy excitement in her life.

On the Man-up Radio Show we see things from a very simple perspective. To give the discussion a little humor and a great visual we can easily illustrate the relationship between a woman and a DUDE by drawing the parallel of a stallion and its lady rider.

A DUDE is very much like a stallion; easy to pick out in the crowd and the undisputed king of the hill. However, no matter how well behaved a stallion is, if you bring him inside the house he will most likely break some china. This means that even a well behaved stallion is still a stallion and has a genetic code that is older than any law or culture.

Not anyone can break a stallion; it takes time, patience, and tolerance. However, if given space, consideration, and respect, a stallion will take a skilled rider for the ride of a lifetime. Spur a stallion and he will grade you against the first fence he finds, or impale you on the first low lying branch in sight. As a skilled rider can take a stallion for a nice ride and create a cooperative relationship that benefits both, a skilled woman can take a DUDE and create the same relationship.

The rider of a stallion has accepted a stronger personality in exchange for not riding a gelding. Although the rider of a stallion does not like the rambunctious and hard-headed nature a stallion can display, it realizes that a stallion is a package deal and you can separate the two; you get majestic traits and reproductive qualities in exchange for an occasional aggressive outburst. The rider of a stallion understands that the alpha features they are in love with also come with some features that require special consideration.

True alpha males are aggressive by nature and will engage immediately if an exchange escalates in tone or body language. Therefore, if a woman wants something out of an alpha man, she would be wise to make him feel like it is being asked for and give him time to come around on his own terms. Demanding something from an alpha man is like spurring a wild stallion; it is fight time or worse, they will put the filters on and brush you off. Alpha men want to please just like a stallion wants to give a skilled rider a ride - but they have to feel that they are doing it on their own and in a cooperative relationship. If a woman understands this they will love the Man-up Radio Show. However, if a woman comes into the radio show pounding her chest she will be dealt with the same way DUDEs deal with things... if you can't kill it make it go away another way (i.e. hang up)!
